SIMPLEX HEALTH WELCOMES NEW CLINICAL DIRECTOR OF DIABETES PREVENTION & REVERSAL

Ambler, PA—Simplex Health, a progressive insurance-funded medical nutrition therapy practice welcomes Stephanie Biggs, a Registered Dietitian now working with patients virtually and in-person at Simplex Health offices located throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Stephanie joins Simplex Health as Clinical Director of Diabetes Prevention and Reversal where her primary focus will be growing and developing Simplex Health's Diabetes reversal protocols and services.

Having spent several years working in a traditional outpatient setting, Stephanie realizes nutrition is underutilized in the management of a disease. As a strong advocate that food can be a powerful form of medicine, Stephanie is driven to use her passion and knowledge to help treat and prevent chronic disease. Stephanie is also a Certified Diabetes Educator and Insulin Pump Trainer, specializing in the management of both type 1, type 2, and gestational diabetes.

"We've been following Stephanie for quite some time now as a driver/leader in the functional nutrition space. In her previous role at a major, established health system, she demonstrated she has the management experience of leading a team and overseeing a program. With Simplex, she'll be able to apply principles of functional medicine with her previous experience to impact our patient's outcomes." said Founder & CEO, David Rambo "As Clinical Director of Diabetes Prevention and Reversal both patients and new practitioners we hire will benefit from her leadership."

Stephanie received her Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2012 and went on to complete her dietetic internship at Priority Nutrition Care based out of Boston, Massachusetts.
